ABOUT
OUR CLINIC & SERVICES
we are the only local in-home euthanasia company to provide both a doctor and technician team for every appointment every time. We also welcome appointments on Saturdays and Sundays so the whole family can be a part of this journey together.
Our pets are family. Even if we've loved them for a lifetime, this precious friendship is never long enough. Making decisions on how to best care for your aging pet may be some of the most challenging aspects of loving our pet family members.
The decision of when it is time to say goodbye can be daunting, guilt-ridden and confusing. We are here to help. We consider it an honor to assist your family in the challenging process of knowing when to let go. Our compassionate team will support you throughout this process as you say goodbye in the comfort of your home. Your pet will pass on peacefully surrounded by the love they've always known. We are happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.
What to expect?
We encourage your family to spend some time together with your pet preparing for your final goodbye before we arrive. For your pet, this may include a car ride or walk, a favorite meal, a nap under the oak tree in the backyard, family photos, or anything else that your pet may enjoy. Take time to be with your pet and make some happy final memories. We have been in your shoes and know how difficult our time together will be for your family. With that in mind, we try to keep our appointment time with you as brief and as comforting as possible, however we will proceed at a pace that is best for you and your pet. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and will review each step of the process with you before we begin.
-
Gentle Sedation- Your pet will receive an injection of sedative medication to allow them to remain calm, content & comfortable. This allows your pet to fall asleep in your presence typically within a few minutes.
-
Humane Euthanasia- when your family is ready & your pet is peacefully sleeping, our team will give the final euthanasia injection. This injection is usually given in a vein and works very rapidly. The veterinarian will use the stethoscope to confirm your pet has passed on.
-
Final Goodbye- Our team will step out to allow your family a few final moments alone with your pet. When you are ready, our team will then transport your pet for cremation.
This process may vary slightly depending on the health, temperament
and any emergent needs of your pet.
